Companies with over 100 employees are subject to mandatory vaccination or weekly testing.
On Wednesday, President Biden met with executives of several large corporations regarding COVID-19 vaccine requirements within the private sector. The meeting included leaders of many of the country’s major companies including Microsoft, Walgreens, Walt Disney, and Columbia Sportswear. This meeting comes one week after the Labor Department required all businesses over 100 people to require employees to either be vaccinated or tested weekly for the virus.
In total, 80 million workers would be subject to the Labor Department mandate. Addressing those Americans who have yet to receive the vaccine the president said, “We’ve been patient. But our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us.” Currently, 54% of the population has been fully vaccinated.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and his advisors as they implement protocols for the coronavirus.
- For officials in the Labor Department as they are tasked with enforcing the president’s mandate.
- That the Lord’s purpose would be fulfilled in the United States.
